This guide covers managing your account settings in the Aura Air consumer app, including email changes, password updates, notification preferences, and account management options.
Accessing Account Settings
Navigate to the Settings tab from the bottom navigation menu to access your account management options.
Settings Menu Overview

The main Settings screen provides access to:
- Change Email: Update your account email address
- Change Password: Modify your account password
- Notification Preferences: Customize app alerts and notifications
- Delete Account: Remove your account permanently (shown in red)
- Support: Access customer support directly
Managing Your Email Address
Changing Your Email
- From the Settings menu, tap "Change Email"
- You'll be directed to the email update screen

- New Email Address: Enter your new email address
- Confirm Email: Re-enter the same email address to verify accuracy
- Tap "Submit" to save changes
Important Notes:
- Use a valid email address you have access to
- You may receive a verification email to confirm the change
- Your login credentials will use the new email address
Updating Your Password
Password Security
- From the Settings menu, tap "Change Password"
- Access the password modification screen

- New Password: Enter your desired new password
- Confirm Password: Re-enter the same password to verify
- Use the eye icon to show/hide password characters while typing
- Tap "Submit" to save changes
Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters recommended
- Use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols for security
- Avoid easily guessed passwords
Managing Notification Preferences
Customizing Alerts
- From the Settings menu, tap "Notification Preferences"
- Review available notification options

Available Notification Types:
- Notification A: [Air quality alerts]
- Notification B: [Device status updates]
- Notification C: [Maintenance reminders and additional system notifications]
- Notification D: [General app updates]
Managing Preferences:
- Enable/Disable: Check or uncheck boxes for each notification type
- Selective Control: Choose only the notifications you want to receive
- Save Changes: Tap "Save Changes" to apply your preferences
Account Deletion
Permanently Removing Your Account
The "Delete Account" option (displayed in red) allows you to permanently remove your Aura Air account.
Before Deleting:
- This action is irreversible
- All device data and history will be lost
- You'll need to create a new account to use the app again
- Consider contacting Support if you're experiencing issues instead
