How to Wash Your Pre-Filter

What Does the Pre-Filter Do? 

The pre-filter is your first line of defense, catching dust, pet hair, and larger particles so your main filter can focus on smaller contaminants.

When Should I Clean It? 

Wait for the notification in your Aura app - it will tell you exactly when your pre-filter needs attention based on your actual usage.

Cleaning Steps:

• Power Down Unplug your Aura Air from the wall. Safety first!
• Remove the Cover Gently lift the cover off your device. The pre-filter should come with it or be right there inside.
• Take Out the Pre-Filter Carefully detach the pre-filter from the cover. It should come off easily.
• Rinse It Clean Hold it under running water and gently rub away any visible dirt or debris. Just use water - no cleaning products needed.
• Air Dry Set it aside to dry completely. Don't put it back while it's even slightly damp.
• Put Everything Back Once it's totally dry, attach the pre-filter back to the cover, put the cover back on your device, and plug it in.

Important Reminders:

• Only use water for cleaning
• Make sure it's completely dry before reinstalling
